One small thing - "Take a stock".

January, in the heart of winter, the lights from the Christmas decorations have gone out, the decorations have been taken down and stored in storage, is it time for us to "slow down" our pace, to go slower and enter the quiet of nature? Because that's exactly what nature does. It quiets down, rests and reposes to prepare for spring, reminding us of the wisdom of the cycle of life.
However, living in cities often makes us lose touch with this natural way of life and the sense of being part of a greater whole. Perhaps this is the most appropriate time to dedicate time to reflection and create space for introspection in order to reassess what is truly valuable in our lives, what fills us with joy, what takes us away from the essence. It is not only an act of self-knowledge but mainly an act of self-care and inner empowerment.
I believe it is important to give ourselves this time. As a friend said, “take a stock,” a phrase that I really liked. To take stock, to look at our lives with a clearer eye. Because in this way we can recognize our priorities, evaluate situations, see what we are today. To decide where we will give our energy, where we will dedicate our time, what is worthy of our appreciation, and ultimately, what we consciously choose.
It is the beginning of a new year, the pages of the calendar are still unwritten, ready to be filled with new things and chapters of life with stories that we will write. Let us see this time as an opportunity to find what we are looking for, to choose what truly fills us and makes us feel truly good so that we can live our lives well!
